These units include the Black Belt Garden, the Black Belt Archives, the Black Belt Heritage Area, the Black Belt Hall of Fame, the Black Belt Conservation and Research Institute, the Sucarnochee Revue radio show, the Black Belt Symposium on History and Literature, the Sucarnochee Folklife Festival, and the Americorps VISTA program – University of West Alabama Poverty Reduction Project.
