Analysis of the origin and role of money as well as money supply. The course also examines the effects of monetary policy on the economy using money demand and money supply models. Prerequisite: “C” or higher in FI300.

Analysis of financial statements from a global perspective, with a primary focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The tools of financial statement analysis will be used to evaluate companies and ultimately to make decisions regarding debt and equity investments. Prerequisite: “C” or higher in FI 300.
