Dr. Pamela Rochester is an Associate Professor of School Counseling Online and Program Coordinator of the Educational Specialist Program at The University of West Alabama. After first instructing on campus, she began teaching online full time with the second online term that was offered at UWA. Dr. Rochester earned a BS degree in Educational Psychology with a minor in History and a Master of Education degree in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University (MSU). She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education with a minor in Educational Psychology from MSU. Dr. Rochester is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has held jobs in various areas, which include Mississippi Job Service performing employment counseling, Mississippi Department of Mental Health, East Mississippi State Hospital where she was Training Director, Division Director of Human Services, and Assistant Administrator of East Mississippi State Hospital. Dr. Rochester has also instructed at MSU (Meridian Campus), East Mississippi Community College, and Sul Ross State University Texas at each location, Dr. Rochester was an adjunct instructor. She has been in private practice and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She has been named in the Who's Who One of 100 VIP Professionals in the Southeast Regional of the United States. Holds membership as a Professional in the American Counseling Association, and the Mississippi Counseling Association.
