The University of West Alabama’s Julia Tutwiler Library will host a book talk by author Ruth Beaumont Cook at the library on Tuesday, March 15, from 2-4 p.m. The public is invited to attend this free event. Refreshments will be served, and Ms. Cook will be signing copies for sale.

The University of West Alabama has announced a fall concert on campus with featuring Sammy Kershaw on Friday, Sept. 10. A limited number of general admission tickets are available for $35 and can be purchased online. Proceeds from the concert benefit renovations at UWA’s Tiger Stadium.

The University of West Alabama leads a partnership that has just been awarded $744k by USDA for an agricultural innovation and sustainability project benefitting east Mississippi and west Alabama. The project is funded by USDA on the successful heels of a preceding project similar in scope.
