Description
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical affiliates and educational institutions.
- Coordinate and schedule clinical placements for nursing students collaboratively with Program Coordinators.
- Ensure clinical site agreements are on file and current.
- Address any issues or concerns related to clinical placement in a timely manner and notify the Assistant Dean or Dean when needed.
- Ensure compliance with current accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to clinical placements and compliance.
- Assist the College of Nursing in developing and implementing policies/procedures to ensure compliance.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to institutional, accrediting, and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a liaison between educational institutions, clinical sites, and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate effectively with faculty, students, and clinical affiliate representatives.
- Provide support and guidance to students and faculty regarding clinical placements and compliance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new clinical placement opportunities.
- Coordinate with Program Coordinators to integrate clinical experiences into the curriculum.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the clinical placement program by submitting end-of-semester surveys to clinical affiliates.
- Create and distribute clinical evaluation tools at the end of the semester to administer to clinical instructors for the purpose of student evaluation.
- Prepare reports on clinical placements, compliance status, and clinical program effectiveness.
- Maintain current records of student clinical hours and experiences.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Qualifications
Required:
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Current unencumbered nursing license.
- Strong knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards in nursing education.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Two years experience in an educational or clinical placement role.
