Keeping You Physically and Mentally Fit
At UWA, we believe that good health — both physical and emotional — is key to having the best possible college experience. To that end, we offer access to medical care and extensive counseling services.

University Medical Center Livingston, offers direct, basic health care for UWA undergraduate students, faculty, and staff. The University Medical Center- Livingston has partnered with the University of West Alabama to provide medical services to students away from their local medical provider.

Behavioral Health Services at UWA provides referrals to mental health providers, counselors, and/or therapists and training and workshops centered around mental health, setting boundaries, managing social anxiety, dealing with intense emotions, and various forms of abuse.
