Highly qualified science teachers are needed in every area of the state. Graduating from this degree program will prepare you to open young minds on your very first day in the classroom. Throughout the program, you will develop a strong background in general biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy and physiology. With UWA’s General Science: Teacher Certification degree, you’ll meet the state’s science teacher requirements and gain expert-level knowledge that can immediately be shared in the classroom. You’ll also build innovative teaching skills that will help you manage your classroom, reach diverse learners and establish an effective learning environment for your students once you complete your science teacher certification.
