Survey of Western Civilization through 1500
The University of West Alabama’s History program helps students develop the skill sets necessary to see the big picture, focus on a specific point, and make a clear, rational argument — skills valued by all employers. Through a concentration on close reading, specialized research and written expression, students prepare themselves for graduate or professional school as well as career advancement once they graduate.
The Bachelor’s degree program offers an optional Military History Concentration, as well as a Teacher Certification track.
