- Traditional Track: Select from upper-level communications, marketing, and behavioral science courses to prepare you for communications research. This track caters to students interested in careers in public relations, marketing, video production or other communication fields. IMC students may opt to specialize in one of three diploma-bearing tracks designed to jumpstart careers in graphic design, multidimensional interior design and sports communications.
- Graphic Design Track: Students complete advanced courses in graphic design, photography and media buying. The graphic design track prepares students for careers in the advertising and creative industries.
- Sports Communications Track: Students complete advanced courses in sports writing, sports magazine, and sports issues in the media. Additionally, students complete a sports internship to prepare for careers in sports writing or broadcasting or sports management.
- Multidimensional Interior Design Track: Students complete advanced courses in elements and principles of interior design and render 2D and 3D computer-aided designs to create engaging marketing presentations for our agency clients.
IMC also offers several student media opportunities including Studio 96, a full-service audio and video production studio, ZONE, our award-winning annual sports magazine, and an in-house, full-service advertising agency.
