Twelve ladies are named Livingston’s Loveliest at the annual Miss Paragon pageant
Bailey Anderson of Hurley, Miss., was crowned Miss Paragon at the University of West Alabama on April 10. The freshman nursing major is the daughter of Eddie and Shelly Anderson. The pageant is sponsored by the Blue Key Honor Society at UWA.
Miss Paragon 2018 Bailey Anderson was crowned by Miss Paragon 2017 Lillie Brewer of Helena, Ala.
“The pageant was such a great experience, and I am so thankful to be crowned Miss Paragon 2018,” Anderson said.
“There were many beautiful young ladies competing for the title as well, and I enjoyed walking the stage with them. I would like to thank UWA Housing for sponsoring me, Susan’s Shoppe for helping me find my beautiful dress, and Blue Key Honor Society for hosting the pageant,” said Anderson.
The top twelve ladies chosen are named Livingston’s Loveliest. The top twelve included: Bailey Anderson of Hurley, Miss., Allie Cameron of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Isabelle Gill of Macon, Ga., Anna Holycross of Livingston, Ala., Virginia Latimore of Foley, Ala., Tia Lymon of Foley, Ala., Baleigh Marchant of Woodstock, Ala., Tadie Phillips Mobile, Ala., Fallon Plowman of Gordo, Ala., Sequoya Stallworth of Evergreen, Ala., Chelsi Stewart of Meridian, Miss., and Kassidy Tyson of Butler, Ala.
Blue Key Fraternity President Brianna Farley served as emcee for the event. Entertainment for the event was provided by the UWA Choir and 2018 Miss UWA Kennedi Sanders.
Blue Key is a national leadership honor society that recognizes men and women for leadership in extra-curricular and academic affairs. The 2018 Miss Paragon pageant raised $1,100 for the Blue Key emergency scholarship fund.
