AC325 Accounting Information Systems

3 Credits

Introduction to the operation and development of accounting information systems, networking, and controls. Includes a detailed review and analysis of procedures required to capture, classify, summarize, and report financial information. Topics include elements of accounting systems, business documents, consideration in systems design, flowcharting, and procedures to protect property and information. Prerequisites: AC 315.

AC325 Advanced Business Law

3 Credits

Administrative law, intellectual property, securities law, property, investment, estates and trusts, negotiable instruments, bankruptcy, secured interest, banking and lease contracts. A student who has received credit for BA363 is not eligible to enroll in AC363. Prerequisite: BA263.

AC331 Federal Income Tax I

3 Credits

A comprehensive study of the federal income taxation of individuals. Prerequisite: “C” or higher in AC212.
