Description
· Organize and plan strength training sessions in coordination with the head coach of each sport.
· Effectively document the progress of student-athlete strength and conditioning activities, setting appropriate goals.
· Assist head coaches with strength and conditioning activities.
· Assist the Director of Strength and Conditioning with the day-to-day operations of the Strength and Conditioning Department.
Qualifications
Essential:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Ability and desire to motivate student-athletes to succeed in the weight room as well as academically.
· Ability to work effectively with the head coach of each sport.
· 3 year of Strength & Conditioning experience.
· Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Desired:
· Strength & Conditioning Certification. (CSCS or CSCCA)
· Experience as a student-athlete.
