Description
- Teach a 4-4 load of Freshman Composition and Sophomore and Upper-Level Literature courses in 19th and 20th Century British Literature per Fall and Spring semester.
- Serve on departmental, college, and University committees.
- Fulfill other responsibilities, such as advising and mentoring students, conducting scholarly research, aiding in student retention, and participating in University and community service.

Qualifications
Essential
- Earned Doctorate in English with a focus on 19th and 20th-century British Literature from an accredited institution (advanced, exceptional ABD candidates may be considered).
- Strong commitment to teaching, student success, and evidence of teaching excellence in undergraduate-level courses in literature and composition.
- Ability to work successfully with diverse populations in the regional university setting.
- Demonstrated potential in research and publication.
Desired
- Ability to teach courses in other subfields of literature and composition.
- Experience in teaching online courses.
- Willingness to provide experiential learning and career exploration opportunities for undergraduate students.
- Experience in successfully navigating artificial intelligence in the English classroom.
